Yard Sale Mirror

I got this from a yard sale down the road from my house. They wanted $10, but with my excellent bargaining skills I got it for $8. May not seem like a very big price drop, but they threw in a few of the other things I had in hand. Here's what it looked like when I got it. It didn't look bad, I just wanted to paint it. I wanted to make sure I got a before pic to compare to my after pic, but forgot to do so until after I applied all the painter's tape. I NEVER forget to take the after pics of course I guess because it's all about ME and what I MADE!! haha! Well, as you can see it's just a plain wooden mirror.

I put it out in my carport on a sheet and started the spray painting. I chose this color green because it was just so very leafy green.

Yay look at me!

After I painted it I sanded it down to make it look old. So here is the finished product. I haven't hung it anywhere because I haven't figured out how to do that. It has the "hang from a string" thing going on. So, I'll let y'all know how that goes.

Here are the two before and after pics.

Great paint job! James should be pretty handy when it comes to hanging things. :)
